I think many ppl can relate to this in various degrees...at least in my case, it seems to happen quite often that in different situations i become very good friends with ppl that i wasnt even interested in knowing before...but at some point, ppl and circumstances change, and no matter how much i dont want it to happen, the friendship seems to fade away, and for no good reason...and by the time i realize it, and try to fix it, its no use, cuz it's just not the same as it used to be...
i found the tribute to ur dadi especially interesting cuz i never even got to meet either of my grandfathers, who both died before i was born...and i'm always told by ppl abt how i hav so many things in common with them, and so many of the same kinds of habits...i'm always left wondering what it might hav been like to hav them around, if even for a lil while...
oh bina.. that is out of this world... its beautiful...yar dil ki baat kardi..bina hum donon ki kahani eh hi hay...
dadi to nahi hay.. lekin tumhay upar say dekh to rahee hay ..tumharay liayay dua to kar hi rahee hoingi..tum fikr na karo bina..aur aap jo jantay hay aap par ishara hay ,.,,kuch karo ..is saypehlay dair hojayaya..

you and your dadi will never be strangers. true, it's possible. i've definitely seen it happen. but just the fact that you have history and memories with a person completely eliminates the possibility of them becoming true strangers. although, the storyline of "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" stands as an exception :)

You 're right it hurts so bad when someone so special is Lost 'n' we can't find them more in our Lives, BUT it's our Faith that we 'll meet them again in After-life. So no worries. *smiles*

I never really got to spend a lot of time with any of my grandparents. But I had some good times with 'em. Though my Dadi passed away before I was even born.
But yeah, I know a few 'best of friends' who are stranger to me now. There's sadness and oddity when you face 'em again. It's a dare itself to talk to 'em!

After dadi jaan's death and with a passage of time i have realised that we should try to look things with people's [ersepective.... y dutn we walk int heir shoes just for a change .. u know.. we might see things with different angle... n it maight bring a smile on our face saying oh! look its so differnt the way i perceived ... see...
